Do they really work? The answer is very personal, what works for one may not work for another. However, IF YOU REALLY want some thing, be it a thing, a new life style, to break a negative habit or to start a new positive one, you will find a way because it’s in our nature to succeed.
I believe most New Year resolutions are about quitting, finishing or stopping an old bad habit or negative life style patterns. Or, beginning, starting a new positive habit or pattern in your life.
What is a natural habit for one person, such as getting up early in the morning and swimming in the ocean, or jogging, or yoga can be virtually unachievable for another, no matter how much willpower they have or how much they want to change.
You can buy books galore on new diets, exercise regimes etc, but how many of us achieve change through reading?
What we do every day defines who and what we are more than what we do occasionally, or what we have read about. The key to changing your habits and establishing new ones is first to understand why you do the things you do, this can be a life times work in one sense, but we’re talking about making bite size changes and hypnosis combined with NLP can be a very rapid way to achieving these goals.
One of the tools the hypnotherapist can use is association, a good example being that most people can’t go to sleep without brushing their teeth, and they structure their teeth-brushing around bedtime and when they wake up in the morning. They don’t have to think about brushing their teeth or use willpower or even remember why it’s important. They just do it. Hypnosis can help you establish new healthy life style patterns, that feels as natural and normal as brushing your teeth, you win.
